Kyoto Imperial Garden was once an area with more than 200 residences for imperial families and court nobles in the Edo Period.
The shrine is located next to Kyoto Garden Palace. It enshrines Wake no Kiyomaro and Wake no Hiromushi-hime who contributed to the relocation of the capital to Kyoto.
Rozanji Temple was originally founded during Tengyo Period (938 - 947) , by Ganzan Daishi Ryogen who rejuvenated Hieizan Enryakuji Temple. It is known also as remains of Murasakisikibu residence.
Shiunzan Chohoji Temple was founded by Prince Shotoku, and is commonly called as “Rokkakudo.”
The museum was build as a research center of tea ceremony originated in the Urasenke school.
The park depicts a town scene of Edo Period, and actual filming takes place in different parts of the park. You can also make a backstage tour.
